AFL’s Swans encourage networking

It doesn’t all have to happen in the boardroom and with the 2011 AFL football season set to start on Thursday (24 March) First 5000 member the Sydney Swans are offering a range of hospitality options.

The Swans, who claim over 1.2 million fans or 32% of Sydney as supporters of the club, believe corporate hosting is a unique experience for both clients and businesses.



Sydney Swans Hospitality and Corporate Events Manager Natasha Browitt said outdoor boxes at the SGC and ANZ stadium are an ideal opportunity to entertain clients in a relaxed and casual environment.


“It is perfect for medium sized businesses because it offers intimate networking exposure, a range of food options and one on one time with seven guests and the host.


“The 16 seat private suites offer a self-contained kitchen and bar and are ideal for larger groups. Medium-sized businesses can also buy a table for ten at the Chairman’s Club which is a fine dining lunch including a celebrity MC, player interviews and a post-match function.


“If you are launching a new product we can facilitate a private area and tailored packages including player appearances if you would like an up close Swans experience.”

In season 2011, the Swans will host three games at ANZ stadium and eight at the SCG.
