Nokia offers entrepreneurs $10,000

Time is running out for First 5000 members to submit their business ideas for the chance to win $10,000 grant from Nokia.

The competition is set to close on the 14th August 2011.


The successful entrepreneurs will also win a mentorship from by Jaimie Fuller, CEO of global sportswear clothing company SKINS and Nokia E7 smartphone.

The competition was launched in conjunction with In Hindsight, an online book that looks at the achievements of seven Aussie entrepreneurs.

Nokia will choose the top five finalists and each will be invited to present their idea to a panel of judges that includes Chris Carr, managing director Nokia; Jaimie Fuller, CEO of SKINS and Suzi Dafnis, director of the Australian Business women’s Network and panellist on the hit TV show Dragon’s Den.

Videos of the finalists’ presentations will be posted on Nokia Australia’s Facebook and the public can vote for their favourite. The overall winner will be determined by the judges as well as a public voting tab on the facebook page.
