Ethnic Business Awards entries open

Nominations for the annual Ethnic Business Awards, which recognise Australia’s diversity in business, close on 25 July 2011. First 5000 members are eligible to enter the Medium to Large Business category.

Winners will share in cash and prizes including $10,000 for individual category winners from the founding partner and major sponsor – National Australia Bank.


The Medium to Large Business category is open to companies with a turnover greater than $5 million per annum.

Entrants for these categories must be either Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents born overseas.

A category also exists for Indigenous Australians making their mark in business.

The awards, in their 23rd year, are judged by an expert panel including, former BHP Billiton chairman Don Argus, former Telstra, Optus and Kodak chief executive Dr Ziggy Switkowski and fashion pioneer Carla Zampatti.

A gala event and award ceremony will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney on 7 November 2011, and will be telecast nationally and internationally.
