Conference to explore social media

Many businesses are struggling to keep up with social media and are failing to integrate it into their overall marketing strategies despite Australia leading the social media revolution in terms of usage.

To help marketers understand the importance of the medium, communications company PMP Limited is hosting international and national experts to provide best practice and insight on the subject through the Schmart marketing conference.


The conference will focus on business and marketing strategies that can transform your business, explain how to make more of a marketing budget and how to create online communities that generate results.

Guest speakers include, former chief marketing officer at Eastman Kodak Jeffrey Hayzlett and TV host, strategist and author Amber MacArthur,who will provide tips on how to make the most of the changing marketing landscape.

Founder and director of Boost Juice Bars, Janine Allis, will also participate in the program as well as Russel Howcroft, group CEO Australia & New Zealand at Y&R Brands, for the Melbourne leg, and in Sydney fellow The Gruen Transfer panelist Todd Sampson, CEO of Leo Burnett will speak.


The Schmart marketing conference takes place in Melbourne on the 4 April and in Sydney on the 6 April.
